Recently bought a NOE mold and it came with a small sample of BullShop sprue plate lube.  Well I got to thinking the guy is a logger by trade and this stuff sure looks exactly like some synthetic oil I have in my shop,so I tried it and it works the same.  I casted a couple hundred bullets and it was still working when I quit casting.  It cost me about $4 for a 8 oz. bottle and you only need to wet the very tip of the Q-Tip as it goes a long way.

Also wrote the guy and NOE molds and ask where he got the 1 oz. sample bottles the lube came in as I need some for other applications in the reloading and range bag. He sent me this link.  The bottles have a .030 hole in the spout and come in 1,2,4,8 and 12 0z. sizes.

Is this bull plate? I wonder. I use Amsoil and have for years in my equipment and vehicles. Never would have thought. I think the bullshop website is down now.

take care,

Ya the site is down but he is still taking orders by snail mail,as far as it being Bull Plate lube your guess is as good as mine but it looks the same and has the same consistency and worked perfectly on my new NOE mold so thats what I'm going to use from now own.

I guess it got expensive to keep his website up. I will try some of his black powder lube. Shipping from
AK is expensive but that's ok. I wish lsstuff would bring back their black powder lube. It was great stuff. DGL is what I'm using now. SPG is okay. I found a local producer of honey so I'm going to visit him to pick up some wax and probably make mine again.

I'm trying for a group buy on the 327 SledgeHammer. I may be too late. We shall see. Is the biggest gang mould from NOE a five cavity? That would be great.

take care,

From what I've read his web site is down due to some issues with family/kids from what I understand.

Thats a nice bullet,as far as I know NOE only does up to five cavities.  If the group buy doesn't go through for you contact Swede directly he always does a few extras of everything.

Here is his current list. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=119487
