Mission:

Our Mission is to provide safe, accurate, content rich ammunition reloading video tutorials for use by all members of the ammunition reloading community.

Goals:

• Produce content rich video tutorials for the ammunition reloading community.
• Provide a safe and open community so users of all skill levels feel welcome to participate.
• Promote safe handling of firearms and safe reloading practices.
• Promote and preserve the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
• Explore new ways of providing quality content to the members of the reloading community.

History

Ammosmith.com started as a collaboration of two firearms enthusiasts who share a unique passion for ammunition reloading. Together James and Dan identified the lack of a comprehensive library of online ammunition reloading video tutorials and decided to open the ammosmith Youtube channel in March of 2008. Early videos focused mainly on providing quality content and production quality was secondary. Today the ammosmith.com's Youtube channel boasts over 160 videos, 1 million+ views,  and over 3300 subscribers.

Due to the success of the youtube channel ammosmith.com was launched in October of 2008. The website includes a comprehensive listing of all of our videos, articles and forum. The forum has quickly grown to over 700 subscribers with interest and subscribers growing daily.

We attempt to take a unique approach to our forum and community as a whole. There are no egos, no one is better then one another and people with bad attitudes, egos, know-it-all attitudes are encouraged to move on. We take reloading seriously and believe that everyone, regardless of skill level is welcome to participate and will not be made to feel awkward for asking a question no matter how basic.

We are currently producing videos for Wolfe Publishing and have two bullet casting specific DVD's on the market under the Wolfe Publishing name. We are currently in production of a third DVD which will cover the basics of Handgun and Rifle reloading.
